A The glow sticks are made up of four components. The first is the outer plastic tube which holds everything together. The second is the fluid you can see moving around in the plastic tube. The third is the glass tube which floats freely in the fluid and the fourth component is the fluid inside the glass tube.
So in order to make the glow sticks glow, you must bend the outer plastic tube enough so that the inner glass tube breaks, then the two chemical fluids can mix together to create the chemical reaction and glow finally.

A Glow sticks should be stored in a cool and dark place with their original container. Don’t expose to open flame, high temperature or direct sunlight. Heat and humidity will shorten the shelf life of the glow sticks.

A It depends on the package. Items in foil package will last for up to 4 years while bulk items (no foil package) will last for over 2 years.

A Glow sticks can glow from 6 to 48 hours depending on the package and the temperature.

A With normal use of glow stick, this will not happen. But if you happen to puncture the glow stick and get it in your clothing or skin. Don’t worry, simply rinse with clean water. If it’s dried, it may cause a stain on the clothing but no damage to your skin.
